Help & Support

WHAT AM I BEING ASKED TO DO?

As a Tier 1 supplier, you will be asking your suppliers to provide data that you will use to populate the download-able SAVE Survey Template that is organized by the parts and materials that they supply to you, and to which model they apply.

This template is customized for you, and has well-defined places to enter the data being requested.

You will be asked to provide the following data for each of your suppliers:

  • Tier 1 (your) commodity name that you supply to Toyota
  • Toyota Model name that uses this commodity
  • Level of lower tier (Tier 2, Tier 3, etc.) supplying to you
  • Lower tier component or material name that you purchase
  • Lower tier supplier corporate name, plant name, country, address
  • Single source (Y/N)
  • Unique spec (Y/N)
  • Countermeasure detail (if required)
  • Recovery lead-time evaluation

WHERE DO I BEGIN?

Before you do anything, verify that your browser and Excel applications meet the following specifications:

Browser: Internet Explorer version 9 and higher or Latest versions of Chrome, Safari, or Firefox

Excel: Version 2007 or higher

After you have confirmed that your software tools meet the specifications above, proceed to the next page in this Getting Started Guide.

If you do not meet the specifications, you will need to install the required versions of Excel and/or the browser that you currently use.
